The Fire in Iceland killed Singer’s Celebration

The Hotel was almost burned out.

In that old historical hotel Valhall (built in Middle Ages) the famous Iceland singer Helgi Bjornsson had to celebrate his 50-th anniversary. But 2 hours earlier the preparation of picturesque night fireworks came out of the order.

The firetracks were called just immedeately, but we saw them (5-8) in 30 minutes, when the fire did its death job. It is said, that restoration had to take place in the nearest future. Now all these discussions stopped. The insurance should have covered that catastrophic event, but it is also said, that the financial crisis touched that insurance company tremendously.
